Scanning Tips

For images intended for e-mail attachments, scan @ 300dpi or higher using .jpg format.

For images intended to be sent via CD or DVD, scan @ a higher resolution using .jpg or .tif format.

Please do not use any sharpening, de-screening, dust and scratch removal, or color correction functions of your scanner. Make sure they are all turned off before you start your scan.


The size of my working files usually is around 5 MB, sometimes reaching 50+ MB. This allows successful printing of images with dimensions up to twice the size of the originals.

Shipping Tips

How to ship your photo securely:

1. Buy an appropriately sized photo mailer from any Wal-Mart or office supply store.

2. Cover the front of the photo with a clean sheet of white paper. If you are sending more than one photo place a sheet of paper between each photo.

3. If the photo you are sending is in more than one piece, please do not attempt to put it back together. Never put tape on the front of a photo.

4. Remember to download, fill out and enclose the Order Form with your order.

5. Make sure the correct address and return address are on the photo mailer.
